American wrestler Aaron Brooks has been accused of using banned substances. His samples showed Adderall, which is usually used to treat attention deficit disorder.
Now Brooks' participation in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris is under question. The American Wrestling Federation will make a decision on the matter in the near future.
Brooks, 23, is an under-23 world champion and U.S. champion, and was also a silver medalist at the Under-20 World Championships and a four-time NCAA champion. In April of this year, Aaron was able to defeat Olympic champion David Taylor in Tokyo in the 86 kg weight class.
