England is finishing the ODI series in style and has put on a massive 348 runs target for New Zealand in 50 overs. Tammy Beaumont top-scored with 102 off 114 deliveries with Winfield-Hill making 43 at the top. Then Amy Jones got going for her 60 runs innings while Danni Wyatt unleashed carnage on New Zealand bowlers, gobbling up 43 runs off just 20 balls.
The first wicket partnership between Tammy and Winfield-Hill lasted for 95 runs but then the top-scorer for the series Knight fell for zero. Sciver and Beaumont added 69 runs for the third wicket before Rower had Nat Sciver LBW. Then Amy made a terrific 60 off just 46 balls and stacked up a 97 runs partnership with Beaumont leading England to 262 and Tammy fell just 6 runs later.
The wicket of Tammy became a cause of misery rather than relief for the White Ferns because it brought Danni to the crease. Wyatt nailed four sixes and three fours to get herself to 43 runs, sending one of the balls to the stands. England has already seized the series and it seems like this is just them stamping their authority at home.
