West Indies failed to score a decent total again as South Africa dominated them from the first to last ball of the match. West Indies got all out for a paltry 120 and South Africa achieved the total without much fuss winning with nine wickets in hand and more than 24 overs left in the game. Marizanne Kapp claimed three wickets while Laura Woolvardt nailed 71 runs to headline South Africa’s effort.

West Indies folded again as Hayley Matthews continued to get out for single-digit scores, this time removed by Kapp. However, the biggest breakthrough came in for Deandre Dottin, and when she fell the score read eighteen for three. Chedean Nation and Kycia Knight led a mini recovery, adding thirty-one for the fourth wicket but both of them fell at the score of 49 and 56 respectively. From there, Qiana Joseph remained the only batter to get past 20 and made 21 off just 20 deliveries as the innings crashed at a mere 120. South Africa came to bat with no scoreboard pressure and lost their first wicket at 35 when Lee got out for 18. But then Laura Woolvardt kept ticking the scoreboard, putting on 71 off 84 balls including 8 fours, and on the other hand, Lara Goodall played cautiously for her 25 as both the batters got South Africa over the finish line with 146 balls left in the game. South Africa is now up two-nil and favorites to win this five-match series as West Indies has been left to do a lot of soul-searching.
