UFC women's strawweight champion Weili Zhang and flyweight champion Alexa Grasso have agreed to fight at UFC 300, which takes place April 14 in Las Vegas, USA.
"Hi champion. Maybe the fans want to see us fight at UFC300," Zhang asked Grasso on social media.
"I admire you so much! And I’d love to defend my title with you. Would you make 125?" replied Grasso.
Let’s Gooooo champion. I can go up to 125. [Dana White] [UFC]. Let’s make it happen,” said Zhang.
Zhang last fought against Amanda Lemos this past August at UFC 292. In this confrontation, Weili won by unanimous decision of judges. She has 24 wins and three losses on her record.
Grasso last stepped into the octagon against Valentina Shevchenko in September of this year at UFC Fight Night 227. That fight went the full distance and ended in a split decision draw. She has 16 wins, three losses and one draw on her record.
