The press service of the American promotion UFC reported that the winner of the heavyweight fight between Sergei Pavlovich and Alexander Volkov can become a title challenger.
Recall, the confrontation between Volkov and Palovich will take place on June 22 in Saudi Arabia.

Volkov, 35, last fought in September 2023 at UFC 293, defeating Tai Tuivasa by choke in the second round. He has 37 wins and ten losses on his record.
Pavlovich, 31, last stepped into the octagon in November 2023 at UFC 295, losing to Tom Aspinall by first-round knockout. He has 18 wins and two losses on his record.
