Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou talked about the negotiations regarding fights against former world boxing champion Deontay Wilder.
Yeah, I think the Deontay one is more realistic to happen, even [more realistic] than Jon Jones. Because before they have an offer of Anthony Joshua, I think in December. We were in conversation of having one boxing match, one MMA match, and probably one of those in Africa. And all parties were down.

Ngannou, 36, last fought in January 2022 at UFC 270 against Ciryl Gane. In that fight, Francis won by unanimous decision. He has 17 wins and three losses under his belt.
Wilder, 37, had a fight against Finnish boxer Robert Helenius in October, 2022. In that fight Deontay won by TKO in the first round. He has 43 wins (42 by knockout), one draw and two losses.
