Brazilian website Ag Fight reported that a heavyweight bout between Alexander Volkov and Ciryl Gane may take place on October 26 at the UFC event in Abu Dhabi.
Recall, Volkov and Gane had their first fight in 2021 at UFC Vegas 30. Then Ciryl won by unanimous decision .
Volkov last entered the octagon against Sergei Pavlovich in June of this year at UFC on ABC 6. This fight lasted the entire distance and ended in favor of Alexander by unanimous decision . He has 38 wins and 10 losses on his record.
Gane last fought in September 2023 at UFC Fight Night 226, defeating Sergey Spivak by technical knockout in the second round. He has 12 wins and two losses on his record.
