A heavyweight bout between Russian Alexander Volkov and Brazilian Jailton Almeida will take place on June 1 at UFC 302 in Newark, USA.
This was announced by insider Leo Guimaraes on his social media.
The 35-year-old Volkov last entered the octagon against Tai Tuivasa in September of this year at UFC 293. Alexander secured a victory with a choking submission in the second round of the fight. He has 37 wins and 10 losses on his record.
The 32-year-old Almeida's last fight was on March 9 at UFC 299, where he was knocked out in the second round by Curtis Blaydes. Jailton has a total of 20 wins and three losses in his career.
