Brazilian fighter Gleison Tibau, in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net, commented on the upcoming rematch between Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier. Their fight will take place July 30 at UFC 291 in Salt Lake City.

It's a good fight. Both guys are very aggressive in stand-up. We're going to see the incredible show we saw a few years ago again. The ATT fighters are good friends of mine. That's why I see Poirier as a 100 percent favorite, he's very dangerous. Gaethje is strong, he's a wrestler. But it doesn't matter because it’s going to be a stand-up fight. Dustin has better boxing and has the power to knock his opponent out. If Gaethje accepts the fight in stand-up, Dustin will finish this fight.

The first fight between Gaethje and Poirier took place in April 2018. Back then, Dustin won by technical knockout in the fourth round.

Gaethje's last fight was against Rafael Fiziev in March of this year at UFC 286. In this confrontation, Justin won by majority decision. He has 24 wins and four losses on his record.

Poirier last went into the octagon against Michael Chandler in November 2022 at UFC 281. That fight ended in Dustin's favor with a choke hold in the third round. He has 29 wins and seven losses on his record.
