UFC executive director Dana White said at a press conference following the UFC 307 tournament, which took place Oct. 6 in Salt Lake City, that he was dissatisfied with the work of the judges.

"The judging tonight was atrocious. Should the referees have been more active during the clinches in the Aldo vs. Bautista fight? I always think that the referees should be more active on that, 100 percent, especially when somebody keeps doing it to stall. You guys aren't going to f***ing let up on this, are you? I guess we'll get into it. If you're judging a guy on control or this or that, if you're not trying to fight, how do you win the fight? If you're looking at attempted takedowns, then what about stuffing the takedowns. Just madness," White said.

When you can tell that the guy definitely doesn't definitely doesn't want to stand and strike and just wants to stall against the fence, yes, the refs, that's their job. When they see it continually happening and that the guy is not trying to win the fight, then you keep breaking them up.

In the co-main event of UFC 307, Julianna Peña defeated Raquel Pennington by split decision (48-47, 47-48, 48-47) to become the women's bantamweight champion.

In the third major fight of the evening, Mario Bautista defeated Jose Aldo by split decision of the judges (28-29, 29-28, 29-28).
