The UFC light heavyweight champion Brazilian fighter Alex Pereira said who could be his next opponent.
Pereira told Sportsnet:
I’m not the guy to call names, I’m not the guy to pick the fights, whoever they want me to fight (I’ll fight), but the name that’s on the table right now is Jiri Prochazka, so we’ll see in the negotiations.
As a reminder, Pereira defeated Prochazka by technical knockout in the second round at UFC 295 in November 2023.
Pereira last entered the octagon in April 2024 at UFC 300, defeating Jamahal Hill by knockout in the first round. He has ten wins and two losses on his record.
Prochazka last fought in April 2024 at UFC 300, defeating Aleksandar Rakic by TKO in the second round. He has 30 wins, four losses and one draw.
