UFC lightweight champion, Russian fighter Islam Makhachev, responded to questions about his next opponent following his victory over Brazilian Renato Moicano at UFC 311.
On January 19 in Los Angeles, Makhachev won against Moicano via submission in the first round.
For me it doesn’t matter. Who can make 155, just step to the cage and stay in front of me. I like this belt. It's not my job [to pick his next challenger]. If someone wants this belt, come to the cage. Makhachev stated in a post-fight interview.
