UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones said middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is his favorite fighter in the promotion.
I hate to admit it, but I would say Israel Adesanya. He’s probably the most entertaining guy in the organization right now. His whole story with [Alex] Pereira, that whole saga they had, it was probably the most entertaining thing I’ve seen out of the UFC in a while. Jones said.
As a reminder, Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira had a rematch at UFC 287 on April 9. Israel won that fight by knockout in the second round.
The first fight between Adesanya and Pereira took place in November 2022 at UFC 281. That fight ended in a fifth-round TKO loss to Israel. He has 24 wins and two losses on his record. Alex has seven wins and two losses under his belt.
