No. 9 lightweight Arman Tsarukyan will not appear at UFC Fight Night 223, which will take place on April 30 in Las Vegas.
Tsarukyan was scheduled to face Renato Moicano at the upcoming event, but the Brazilian was injured and had to pull out of the fight.
UFC officials said they were unable to find a new opponent for Tsarukyan on short notice.
Tsarukyan, 26, fought against Damir Ismagulov at UFC Fight Night 216 in December 2022. The fight lasted the whole distance and ended in favor of Arman by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 19 wins and three losses under his belt.
