UFC lightweight Arman Tsarukyan has plans to face Charles Oliveira for his first title defense if he emerges victorious against current UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in their upcoming rematch.
Tsarukyan is set to fight Makhachev at UFC 311, which will take place on January 19 in Los Angeles, USA.
Tsarukyan said in an interview with TNT Sports:
When I'm gonna be champion I would like to fight with Charles because our fight kind of was pretty close and I would like to finish him.
Tsarukyan and Oliveira first fought in April this year at UFC 300. In that bout, which went the full distance, Arman secured a victory by split decision. Tsarukyan's professional record now stands at 22 wins and three losses, while Oliveira boasts 35 wins, 10 losses, and one no contest.
