The bout for the belt of UFC light heavyweight champion between Brazilian Alex Pereira and representative of the Czech Republic Jiri Prochazka will be the main event of the UFC 303 tournament on June 30 in Las Vegas (USA). The announcement was made by the promotion's CEO Dana White on his social media accounts.
Pereira, 36, last stepped into the octagon in April 2024 at UFC 300, defeating Jamahal Hill by first-round knockout. He has ten wins and two losses on his record.
Prochazka, 31, last fought in April 2024 at UFC 300, defeating Aleksandar Rakic by TKO in the second round. He has 30 wins, four losses and one draw on his record.
