UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland revealed on his social media that before UFC 293 in Australia, the league provided him with a bodyguard who served in the Special Forces.
To recall, Strickland became the league's new middleweight champion on September 10, defeating Israel Adesanya by unanimous decision of the judges.
Sean Strickland wrote about it on his social media accounts:
After I punched that fan in Sydney the UFC gave me a bodyguard (thanks for not pressing charges) But the bodyguard.. My god was an absolute savage. Told me one special forces story and from that, I will forever feel like a pu**y in comparison.
Prior to his fight with Adesanya, Strickland fought in July 2023 at UFC on ESPN 48, where he defeated Abusupiyan Magomedov by technical knockout in the second round. He has 28 wins and five losses on his record.
