UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling said he is now concerned about several injuries that could derail his bout against Sean O'Malley at UFC 292 in Boston (USA).
I’m still injured with my legs banged up, my bicep still sucks, I’m supposed to get another MRI on that. I’m trying to get to this fight in August. We’ve talked a little bit about it and we’re trying to see if we can make it happen, but my leg is still super sensitive to the touch. I hope I’m not ruining anything by me saying that.

Recall that Sterling had his third defense of the flyweight belt on May 7 in a fight against former two-division champion of the promotion Henry Cejudo. In this fight Aljamain won by split decision. He has 23 wins and three losses under his belt.
Some time later, UFC president Dana White announced a fourth defense for Sterling: against division number two Sean O'Malley.
O'Malley, 28, last stepped into the Octagon in October 2022 at UFC 280, winning by split decision over Petr Yan. He has 16 wins and one loss under his belt.
