Former UFC lightweight champion, American fighter Aljamain Sterling talks about his mood before his fight with his compatriot Calvin Kattar, which will take place on April 14 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas (USA).
Sportskeeda quoted Sterling as saying:
When I get my hands on Calvin, it's gonna be a very [surprising performance]. A lot of people are saying that if O'Malley was able to put me out, what is a bigger guy gonna do that hits harder? I always say you can't hit what you can't touch, and I think that's gonna be the name of the game. I'm gonna try to make it look as close to the Max Holloway fight as possible.
Sterling, 34, last fought Sean O'Malley in August 2023 at UFC 292. In that fight, Aljamain was defeated by technical knockout in the second round. He has 23 wins and four losses on his record. The 35-year-old Kattar has 23 wins and seven losses on his record.
