The UFC has announced that former UFC double champion Georges St-Pierre will compete in the league's upcoming Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament in December. The Canadian fighter's opponent and the full tournament card will be announced at a later date.
St-Pierre last fought against Britain's Michael Bisping in November 2017 at UFC 217. In that confrontation, Georges won by third-round submission. In February 2019, St-Pierre announced his retirement.
St-Pierre made his UFC debut in a fight against U.S. representative Karo Parisyan in January 2004. That fight ended in Georges' favor by a unanimous decision of the judges. He has 26 wins and two losses in mixed martial arts under his belt.
