Brazilian UFC lightweight fighter Renato Moicano issued a challenge to British fighter Paddy Pimblett following his victory over Frenchman Benoit Saint-Denis.
- “Next, I want easy money. Paddy Pimblett, easy money. Dan Hooker, easy money. Don’t come up with bull***t fights. Don’t come up with guys that are tough. I want easy fights,” Moicano said after his bout with Saint-Denis.
- In response, Pimblett took to social media shortly after to say, "Let’s do this".
Moicano and Saint-Denis faced off in the octagon on September 28 at UFC Fight Night 243 in Paris, where Moicano won via technical knockout after the fight was stopped by the doctor. His record now stands at 20 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw.
Pimblett last competed in the octagon against Bobby Green in July at UFC 304. That fight, which ended in the first round, concluded with Pimblett winning by submission. He currently has a record of 22 wins and 3 losses.
