Russian Cagefighting Championship head Nikolay Klimenko in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net said that the league will not file a suit against BKFC fighter Sadudee Srimueang, who stole an expensive watch of a Dagestan resident at Sheremetyevo airport:
We don't have any claims against him. He has punished himself. He faces criminal charges. We provided him with legal assistance, and we sent an interpreter. But he committed a crime and must be held responsible for it. Now he may have to sacrifice a part of his life for that offense. He's dealing with it on his own now. Now it's his problem, it's his offense for which he must be held accountable. I'm a bit shocked at what happened. I can't understand it even now, because the fighter could have gotten really good money for the fight. The watch was more expensive than his potential fee, but in a non-material way.
Recall, tax service employee from Dagestan Uzden Uzdenov contacted the staff of Sheremetyevo, because he lost his watch. The surveillance cameras showed that Srimueang took them from the belt, when Uzdenov went through the inspection.
On September 16, Srimueang was scheduled to fight at the RCC Hard tournament against Martin Juarian.
