Kazakhstan UFC fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov announced that he has withdrawn from his May fight with the current welterweight champion of the promotion, Belal Muhammad, due to an injury.

The UFC had previously announced the matchup between Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena for UFC 315, set to take place on May 11 in Montreal, Canada.

Big thanks to the UFC for offering me the shot at the belt first. Unfortunately, due to injury, I won't be ready for May. I'll be facing the winner later this year!
