Details of the conflict between former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill and his brother James have become known.
According to MMAFighting, citing a police report obtained, the cause of the conflict was a disagreement between the relatives while discussing cleaning the fighter's vacant home for $300. There was an argument between the relatives that turned into a heated exchange.
When James accused Jamahal of not texting his daughter on Thanksgiving, the former UFC champion punched his brother. James' wife tried to stop Jamahal, but he bypassed her and landed another punch. James lost a tooth and his face was covered with bruises.
Recall, Hill said that he could not disclose the reasons for the conflict. He noted that he is waiting for the court to reveal the truth.
The 32-year-old Hill has not fought since January 2023, when he defeated Glover Teixeira by unanimous decision of judges at UFC 283. In July 2023, Hill suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon and relinquished the UFC light heavyweight championship belt. He has 12 wins and one loss on his record.
