American UFC lightweight fighter Dustin Poirier has given his thoughts on the upcoming match between Khamzat Chimaev and Robert Whittaker, which is set to take place on October 26th at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Dustin said in an interview with ESPN:
Whittaker. I think Chimaev is going to get tired in the later rounds. It is a five-round co-main event. I think fourth and fifth round, Whittaker is going to put it on.
Whittaker's last fight was against Ikram Aliskerov in June of this year at UFC on ABC 6. In the first round of the match, Robert won by knockout. He has 26 wins and 7 losses on his record.
Chimaev's most recent fight was against Kamaru Usman in October 2023 at UFC 294. The fight went the distance and Khamzat won by majority decision. He has 13 wins and no losses.
