Eric Nicksick, coach of former UFC heavyweight champion and PFL fighter Francis Ngannou, assessed the likelihood of organizing a fight with current heavyweight division champion Jon Jones.
Nicksick said in an interview with TalkSPORT:
It's money and money talks. If that's something that's going to happen, it's with Saudi and Turki Alshaikh. If it happens, it wouldn't surprise me. Dana is a smart businessman. If he thinks it makes sense for them business-wise, I think it's something he would do.
Ngannou, 37, last fought in MMA in January 2022 at UFC 270, defeating Ciryl Gane by unanimous decision. He has 17 wins and three losses on his record.
Jones, 36, last stepped into the octagon in March 2023 at UFC 285, defeating Ciryl Gane by first-round choke. He has 27 wins and one loss on his record.
