It's worth mentioning that on the night of October 20, Ngannou achieved victory over Ferreira with a technical knockout in the first round. His previous match was against Anthony Joshua in a boxing bout back in March of this year, where he suffered a knockout loss in the second round. Ngannou's record in mixed martial arts now stands at 18 wins and three losses.
