The UFC updated the rankings after UFC Fight Night 217 and the decision of former champion of the promotion in the heavyweight division Francis Ngannou not to renew his contract with the league.
Robert Whittaker is ranked #13 in the overall P4P rankings. John Jones moved up to No. 12, Israel Adesanya (5), Aljamain Sterling (8) and Jiří Procházka (9) moved up one spot. Alex Pereira (6) and Deiveson Figueiredo (10) moved up two spots.
Ngannou had his last fight against Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 in January 2022. Francis won that fight by unanimous decision. He has 17 wins and three losses under his belt.
Whittaker last time he was in the Octagon against Marvin Vettori of Italy, last September at UFC Fight Night 209. That fight lasted the whole distance and ended in favor of Robert by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 24 wins and six losses under his belt.
