The Nevada State Athletic Commission has suspended six members of UFC President Dana White's Power Slap League for failing doping tests for banned substances, including steroids and drugs.
TJ Thomas, who participated in the March 9 slap fight, was disqualified after testing positive for clomiphene, a hormone and metabolic modulator.
Jay Rivera, who competed in the March 11 tournament, was disqualified after testing positive for GW-1516, sulfone and sulfoxide, hormonal and metabolic modulators.
Chris Thomas and Andrew Provost were disqualified after testing positive for buprenorphine and its metabolite norbuprenorphine. Buprenorphine is a drug used to treat disorders caused by the use of opioids.
Isaih Quinones was disqualified after testing positive for norandrosterone, drostanolone, tamoxifen and boldenone, which are anabolic steroids.
Frank Holland was disqualified after testing positive for phentermine, a stimulant that can be prescribed for weight loss.
After all the names and banned substances were listed, the committee approved a temporary suspension, extended until a full disciplinary hearing could be held.
