Former Bellator light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov shared in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net that the PFL has not provided him with a contract to officially become the backup fighter for the fight between Francis Ngannou and Renan Ferreira.
I have a feeling that neither of them will withdraw from the fight. And since there’s no contract with PFL, my gut tells me that I won’t have a match. I’m currently training for myself. I’ve just arrived in Kislovodsk to get in shape and do sparring. It’s a good opportunity to work on combinations and learn something new. Besides, we try to come here every six months. This has been fruitful because Olympic athletes also train here. The results are impressive. My functional and strength metrics are improving.

Recall that the bout between Ngannou and Ferreira for the special Super Fights belt will take place on October 19 as part of the PFL Battle of the Giants event. Ngannou has 17 wins and three losses, while Ferreira holds a record of 13 wins and three losses.
