Former Bellator light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov has responded to the official announcement of his scheduled third fight against Corey Anderson, set for January 25.
Initially, it was reported that Nemkov would be facing Ante Delija, but the Croatian fighter had to withdraw from the match due to an injury.
The fight has been announced, but we haven’t signed anything yet. To be honest, this fight looks like some cheap scam. We have said that Corey is not Delija; they are fighters of different levels. We requested better conditions for the fight and asked about what would happen next. However, we received no responses, and the contract conditions have not improved. We were waiting for a reply from the organization, and today I saw that they announced the fight. I haven’t signed anything yet.

In their first encounter in April 2022 at Bellator 277, the matchup between Nemkov and Anderson was deemed no contest due to an accidental head clash. Later, in November of the same year at Bellator 288, Nemkov secured a unanimous decision victory.
Nemkov has a professional record of 17 wins and 2 losses, with one fight declared a no contest. Anderson has 18 wins, 6 losses, and one fight also marked as a no contest.
