Former UFC two-weight champion Conor McGregor of Ireland congratulated American heavyweight champion Jon Jones on his victory over Frenchman Ciryl Gane.
The March 5 fight between Jones and Gane headlined the UFC 285 tournament. This confrontation, which was stopped in the first round, ended in favor of Jon by a choke hold.
That was incredible by Jon last night! Even better to see it live! The man should’ve had two belts presented to him. And both sparkling. He did it. Fu-g brilliant, Jones! Congrats!
