UFC president Dana White has confirmed that the promotion's former double champion Conor McGregor has filed paperwork to return to the USADA pool. This was reported by TSN Sports reporter Aaron Bronsteter.
McGregor could be on the USADA roster as early as October 9. McGregor will have to undergo six months of testing before being cleared to fight again.
McGregor last fought against American Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. In this confrontation Conor was defeated by technical knockout after breaking his leg.
At the moment, McGregor is on a series of two defeats. He has 22 wins and six losses on his account in mixed martial arts.
