The featherweight title fight between Spanish fighter Ilia Topuria and American Josh Emmett will be the main event of the summer UFC Fight Night tournament, scheduled for June 17.
This was reported by journalist and insider Marcel Dorff on his Twitter account.
Emmett, 38, suffered a loss to Yair Rodriguez in February 2023 in a challenger fight for the UFC interim featherweight belt.
Topuria, 26, had his last fight in December 2022, defeating Bryce Mitchell. His winless streak is 13 fights, five of which in the UFC.
Josh Emmett and Ilia Topuria are ranked fifth and ninth, respectively, in the UFC featherweight rankings.
