Bellator featherweight champion Patricio Freire commented on his unanimous decision victory over Rizin FF champion Kleber Koike at the Bellator vs Rizin co-main event in Japan on December 31.
It was an extremely tough fight. I'm glad I won in the end, but I want to fight Kleber again in 2023, but this time for the title. We didn't have the belt on the line in this fight, so if we put the belt on the line, the tension is going to rise tremendously.
Patricio Freire
Freire stepped into the cage this past October against Hungary's Ádám Borics at Bellator 286. Patricio won that fight by unanimous decision.
Freire made his Bellator debut against Pat Curran in January 2013. The fight lasted the whole distance and ended in Patricio's defeat by split decision. He has 35 wins and five losses under his belt.
