Bella Mir, daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, has signed a special deal with the UFC to use the league's image and name.
Bella was destined to be a lifelong member of the UFC family, and I'm proud to have her make history as our first ambassador for one of the University of Iowa's top programs. She is a four-time state wrestling champion and has won jiu-jitsu tournaments and three professional MMA fights before the age of 19.

Contracts with NIL give college athletes the opportunity to earn money from things like public appearances, endorsements and social media posts. In other words, fighters can profit from their name and image.
According to the UFC press release, the organization has signed young Mir as an NIL ambassador, and will pay her for the rights to her name, image and likeness.
