Former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor will not be able to fight in 2023. The Irish fighter failed to meet the deadline for entering the USADA testing pool, which expired on June 20.
Earlier, representatives of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) said that they would not make concessions for McGregor and he must be in the organization's pool for at least six months in order to return to the octagon.
Recall that Conor McGregor was scheduled to fight American Michael Chandler in late 2023.
McGregor last appeared in the octagon against American Dustin Poirier in July 2021, at UFC 264. In that fight, Conor was defeated by TKO as a result of a broken leg.
McGregor had his UFC debut against Marcus Brimage in April 2013. Conor won that fight by TKO in the first round. He has 22 wins and six losses under his belt.
