The Global Fight League (GFL) has announced a match between former UFC heavyweight champions, Brazilian Fabricio Werdum and American Frank Mir. The date and location of the fight have yet to be revealed.
Fabricio Werdum last fought in September 2023 at GFC 5, where he lost to Junior dos Santos by split decision. His record includes 24 wins, ten losses, and one draw, with one fight deemed a no contest.
Frank Mir last stepped into the cage in October 2019 at Bellator 231, where he defeated Roy Nelson by unanimous decision. His career record comprises 19 victories and 13 defeats.
