Former UFC heavyweight title holder Andrei Arlovski spoke about the fight with refugees in London, which occurred during the New Year holidays.
"I celebrated the New Year as usual, although here in London there was a conflict with refugees. I didn't want to fight, but I had to show my son that shit happens. Son, do you think I won the fight?" said Arlovski while chatting with fans on social media.
"Yeah. One guy got away, the other guy had blood on his face," the fighter's son replied.
"Actually, the guy wasn't alone - there were three of them. But I wouldn't call him a guy or a man - it's just a piece of shit because he was beating a woman," Arlovski added.
Arlovski had his last fight in October 2022 at UFC Fight Night 213, losing to Marcos Rogério de Lima by submission (rear-naked choke) in the first round. In April of that year, Arlovski faced Jake Collier at UFC on ESPN 35. This confrontation went all three rounds and ended with the victory of Andrei by split decision.
Arlovski made his professional debut in April, 1999, at the M-1 MFC - World Championship 1999, when he lost by TKO in the first round to Viacheslav Datsik. The 43-year-old fighter has 34 wins and 21 losses under his belt.
