The UFC flyweight title fight between former division champion Deiveson Figueiredo and No. 9 ranked Manel Kape will take place on July 8 at UFC 290.
The bout is already on the card at the reputable Sherdog.
As you may recall, Figueiredo, 35, fought his last fight at UFC 283 in January, 2023. That time, his opponent was Mexican Brandon Moreno for the fourth time. Their confrontation ended with the doctors' stoppage because of the Brazilian's eye injury. So Moreno was awarded the victory by TKO. He became the new UFC flyweight champion. Figueiredo has 21 wins and three losses under his belt.
29-year-old Kape defeated David Dvorak by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 216 in December. Manel has 18 wins and six losses.
