Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has been sentenced to one year of probation in a DUI case that resulted in an accident.
Recall, in May 2023, Ferguson crashed his pickup truck into two parked cars outside a nightclub. The fighter's car turned over on the side, no one was injured in the accident. Later it turned out that the fighter was drunk.
As MMA Junkie writes, the fighter was cleared of the DUI charge and given a less severe charge of reckless driving on a wet road. He was given one year of probation by the court for Tony.
Ferguson, 39, last stepped into the octagon in July 2023 for a fight against Bobby Green at UFC 291. Tony was defeated in the third round by technical submission (arm triangle choke). He has 25 wins and nine losses on his record.
