The boxing match between former UFC fighters Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will be postponed until July 6th. This is reported by insider Ariel Helwani.
According to Helwani, the fight will now take place in Anaheim, instead of Inglewood as originally planned. Initially, Diaz and Masvidal were supposed to meet in the ring on the night of June 2nd, but a UFC 302 tournament with the main fight between Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier is scheduled for the same day, prompting the organizers to postpone the Diaz vs. Masvidal bout.
Masvidal and Diaz previously faced each other in November 2019 in a fight according to MMA rules at UFC 244. Masvidal won that fight by technical knockout. Masvidal has 35 wins and 17 losses to his name, while Nate has 21 wins and 13 losses on his record.
