American UFC fighter Beneil Dariush told The Schmo that his fight against Brazilian Charles Oliveira has been postponed until June 11 at UFC 289 in Vancouver, Canada.
Recall that Oliveira and Dariush were originally scheduled to fight on May 7 at UFC 288, but the Brazilian withdrew due to injury.
Oliveira had his last fight against Islam Makhachev at UFC 280 in October 2022. In this fight, Charles was defeated by a choke in the second round. He has 33 wins and nine losses under his belt.
Dariush made his last appearance in the Octagon against Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 280 tournament. That fight lasted the whole distance and ended in Beneil's favor by a unanimous decision of the judges. He has 22 wins, four losses and one draw.
