The number four of the UFC lightweight division ranking, American fighter Beneil Dariush revealed when he will end his professional career.

Dariush said in an interview with the YouTube channel UFC:

I have two requirements for my retirement. One, is I'm going to get in that octagon and I won't feel anything. Once I have that - I'm done. And my other one is when these young guys start outworking me. So if I have somebody in the gym who's outworking me and they're younger than me, and I can't keep up with them - I'm done.

Recall, on December 3 in Austin (USA) Dariush will fight against Arman Tsarukyan at the UFC on ESPN 52.

Dariush, 34, last stepped into the octagon in June 2023 at UFC 289, losing to Charles Oliveira by technical knockout in the first round. He has 22 wins, five losses and one draw on his record.

Tsarukian, 27, last fought in June 2023 at UFC on ESPN 47, defeating Joaquim Silva by technical knockout in the third round. He has 20 wins and three losses on his record.
