UFC president Dana White has announced that the fight promotion has donated one million dollars to help victims of the Hawaii fires.

On the night of August 13, the UFC Vegas 78 tournament took place in Las Vegas (USA). The main event of the evening featured a bout between two Brazilian mixed martial arts fighters Vicente Luque and Rafael dos Anjos. Luque won the fight by unanimous decision.
In the co-main event of the tournament, Cub Swanson fought against Hakeem Dawodu. This fight lasted the whole distance and ended in favor of Swanson by unanimous decision.
