UFC president Dana White announced that Glover Teixeira will fight the winner of the Jan Blachowicz vs. Magomed Ankalaev title fight on the night of December 11 at UFC 282.
Jiří Procházka will still be viewed as the champion. He didn't lose the belt. There can be two title fights before he can recover from his shoulder surgery.

Remember, at UFC 282, Teixeira was scheduled to fight Jiří Procházka of the Czech Republic, who vacated his championship belt due to a shoulder injury. Glover has 33 wins and eight losses in mixed martial arts under his belt.
Glover fought his first fight this past June against Procházka at UFC 275. In that bout, Teixeira lost by choke in the fifth round. Procházka has 29 wins, three losses and one draw.
