Top UFC welterweight Colby Covington commented on the promotion's lightweight champion Islam Makhachev's desire to have his next fight against welterweight champion Leon Edwards.
I started laughing when I saw what that little down said. Bro, you just got beaten up by little Alexander Volkanovski at featherweight and are you going to move up to welterweight where real men fight? Everyone understands that his manager wrote this, and he thinks that in this way they will be able to get around me, but this will not happen. Makhachev will have to stay at lightweight. Defend your title first, because before that you fought a featherweight, a small midget, and got beaten by him.
