Brazilian UFC middleweight fighter Paulo Costa will earn more than one million dollars per fight under a new contract with the American promotion.
The deal is reportedly for four fights, and Costa himself has become the highest-paid Brazilian fighter in the UFC.
Costa had his last fight against Luke Rockhold in August 2022 at UFC 278. In that fight, Paulo won by unanimous decision.
Costa fought in October 2021 against Marvin Vettori at UFC Fight Night 196. The fight lasted the whole distance and ended in Paulo's defeat by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 14 wins and two losses under his belt.
