American UFC fighter Colby Covington revealed that matchmakers for the promotion attempted to arrange a fight for him against fellow American Dustin Poirier at UFC 309, scheduled for the night of November 17 in New York (USA).
UFC's approached me with it, but they know I've always been on board. But you know, Dustin was even going to get a pay raise, double what he normally gets, and still turned it down. He said, 'Nah, I'm never fighting Colby. I'm not going to let him make any money.'
