Former UFC double champion, American fighter Henry Cejudo, who previously stated he would retire if he lost to Merab Dvalishvili, shared his future plans.
On February 18 in Anaheim (USA) at the UFC 298 event, Cejudo lost to Dvalishvili by unanimous decision.
Cejudo said on his YouTube channel:
If I could change everything, I probably would never come back, but now that I’m back, I got to sh*t where I sleep. For that reason, I cannot go out like that. So I’m here today ladies and gentlemen, taking my word back as a man, confronting you guys, you the people, you my fans, you my family, you my friends, you the haters, that I just cannot go out like this. Guys, to say the least, it is far from over with the ‘Triple C.'
The 37-year-old Cejudo's previous fight was in May 2023 at UFC 288, where he lost to Aljamain Sterling by split decision. He has 16 wins and four losses in his record.
